Vitamin B12 is also known as cobalamin. It is essential for our body but it not produced by our body. It is rich in animal products like meat, egg, fish, nuts, and in certain foods and takes as an oral supplement, injections.

Vitamin B12 supports our nerve cell and helps in the formation of Red Blood Cells, DNA synthesis, increase our energy and memory power and reduces heart disease, anemia prevention.

Red Blood Cell is an important element in the blood. It transfers oxygen to blood tissue. Our body can produce RBC but can't multiple without Vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 can multiple it. Normal person RBC is small it can pass through the bloodstream but Vitamin B12 deficiency person RBC is very large it can not pass through the bloodstream.

              
       The adult should take 2.4 micrograms, women should take 2.8 micrograms, pregnant women should take 2.3 micrograms of Vitamin B12.
