Suriya's upcoming movie is Soorarai pottru, directed by Sudha Kongara, produced by Suriya's own production house 2D Entertainment, music by GV Prakash Kumar. This movie was planned to release on April20 due to COVID-19 it delayed. Now this movie gets the "U" certificate by the censor board which means all age group members can enjoy this film.

Suriya plays an intense character

            Suriya plays an intense character after Nandha, he played NGK(Nandha Gopalan Kumaran) but it gets a mixed review among the people. In this movie, he plays a character Nedumaaran Rajangam "Maara" in three time era young boy, pilot student, pilot officer. He is struggling to start his own airline company.

    Sudha Kongara is a realistic filmmaker. She is a director of Drohi, Iruthi Suttru, Guru(Telugu remake of Iruthi Suttru). In both movies, she shows the real north chennai. In Iruthi Suttru movie she shows the politics behind the female boxing club.GV Prakash is a good actor but his music is best than his act, but now he didn't compose music regularly.        Soorarai Pottru is a movie based on the life of GR Gopinath. Suriya playing a character of GR Gopinath. He is a founder of AirDeccan and a retired Indian Army officer. He started his path from a rural background and then he owns an airline business.
